When you register for an account, we collect your username, email address, and password. Your user role (e.g., Welder, Validation Specialist, Project Manager) is also associated with your account.

Weld & Project Data:

The core function of our app is to manage welding projects. We collect all data you enter into the application, including but not limited to:

Weld details (welder ID, dates, visual inspection results, notes).
ISO (isometric drawing) information and validation status.
Project, P&ID, System, and Line data you are associated with.

b) Information Collected Through Your Use of the Service:

Camera Access:

We require access to your device's camera to enable the QR code scanning functionality for registering welds and checking ISOs, and to capture validation images when required as part of the workflow. We do not access your personal camera roll unless you explicitly choose an image.

Validation Images:

Images captured or uploaded for weld/ISO validation are processed and stored for functional reasons, including documenting validation results, supporting project traceability, and making validation records available to authorized project users.

Network Status:

The application checks for your device's network connectivity status (online/offline) to determine when to synchronize your data with our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To Provide and Maintain the Service: To authenticate you, allow you to create and manage project data, and provide the core functionalities of the app.
To Enable Offline Functionality: Your data is stored locally in a secure database on your device, allowing you to continue working without an active internet connection.
To Synchronize Data: To upload your locally stored data to our central servers when an internet connection is available, ensuring your project team has up-to-date information.
To Manage Your Account: To associate your work (e.g., welds, validations) with your user profile for accountability and project tracking.
To Improve Our Service: We may use anonymized and aggregated data to understand how our Service is used and to make improvements.

Within Your Organization: Your name, role, and the project data you submit (e.g., a weld you registered or validated) will be visible to other authorized users within your project or company, as required for project management.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

Local Storage: Data is stored locally on your device in an SQLite database. Your authentication token is stored securely using the flutter_secure_storage library, which utilizes Keychain for iOS and Keystore for Android.

Server Security: We take reasonable measures to protect the information stored on our servers from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access.

We retain your account information and project data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service and to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.
